Lately I have found myself adding more heat to my hair. Weather I am making a weekly visit to get my hair blown out (which I love) or trying to do it myself at home. With that being said, my hair needs a little more TLC than my regular hair care routine. I wanted a natural alternative that could restore and repair my hair.
I love natural recipes that are easy, and I can do at home. In this post I am going to share with you a recipe that will restore your hair and is easy to make at home!
At first, I was skeptical about the ingredients, but don’t worry once mixed together it forms a nice paste, and the best part is that your hair wont smell like any of these. I promise!
Recipe as follows:
1 ripe banana
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
I like to put all of the ingredients in the Nutribullet and mix well. Once the ingredients are well mixed, apply it all over your hair and scalp. Next put your hair in a shower cap, and then a towel over your head. Let it all soak in for at least an hour. After, wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner as you normally would, and rinse well.
Egg contains sulfur, protein, and biotin. Egg controls the oils in your scalp, cleans and purifies your hair, promotes hair growth, adds volume and strengthens your hair.
Bananas are full of vitamin c and b’s! Not only are they yummy, but also restore the moisture and shine in dull hair. This wonderful fruit helps soothe a dry, irritated scalp.
Olive oil has moisturizing properties. It also helps with frizz and gets rid of tangles.
Honey is an incredible ingredient for hair. It contains antimicrobial properties which help with dandruff. Honey also boosts hair growth!
