I decided to bring you guys my favorite pumpkin product because what else screams fall better than treating yourself to a pumpkin mask. I decided on the Peter Thomas Roth three-in-one Pumpkin Enzyme Mask.
- Exfoliate with a Pumpkin Enzyme
Peel with alpha hydroxy acid
Polish with aluminum oxide
This product has AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) which may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. It helps with clarifying, fine lines, and wrinkles.
This product LITERALLY has the most amazing pumpkin spice smell you can imagine, it’s like you almost want to taste it. My experience with this mask wasn’t what I expected. The exfoliating beads were on the sharper side but not in a bad way, I could just tell right away that it was definitely scrubbing away a good layer of dead skin. The mask also has a kick to it that made it sting a little, which I was a bit surprised about, but apparently, it’s the AHA and enzymes working. Depending on skin sensitivity, you’re supposed to leave it on from three to seven minutes. Overall, I liked it a lot! I have to let my skin work up to it so that I can leave it on a bit longer, but the next day my skin looked so radiant, fresh, and soft.
This was a great purchase and will give you actual results, I highly recommended it if you’re in the market for a good exfoliator.
I can’t tell you how often skincare professionals advise that the secret to a youthful looking skin is exfoliating. Why? Because products simply won’t work as well or penetrate into deeper levels of the skin if you have old skin sitting at the top, but you can also overdo it, I like to exfoliate with a scrub once or twice a week.
