I tried sewn in hair extensions, and here is what I learned:
•You can choose from 14”-22” of hair length -I decided to go with 20”, which is a perfect happy medium, I mainly did it to add fullness and definitely added some length to my natural hair.
•The initial installment of the hair varies, but can take around 2-3 hours depending on the amount of hair you’re adding ⏱
•6-12 weeks for a move up depending on how fast your natural hair grows, and it takes half the time of your initial hair installment.
•Every time you get your hair extensions moved up you will feel them very tight for a few days, especially at night but this goes away after a night or two.
•There is also minimal to ZERO damage on your real hair.
•No down time for exercising or washing, and your extensions won’t move! This includes wearing your hair up in a pony tail, half buns, braids, they won’t peak through
•The hair can last around 6 months to a year depending on how well you take care of it (not applying too much heat).
•It is recommended to sleep in a braid to keep the hair quality, follicles smooth, and to prevent knotting.
•The only downside is my hair gets more knotted than usual but I bought @theouai leave in conditioner and it saves me every time!
So far I love them, and I don’t know why I waited so long to try them.
